— Transfering Files to the Internet Using FTP
Web content including files, pictures, etc. may be loaded to a
customer's account on Network Vista's Server Computers using any
FTP (file transfer protocol) tool such as WS_FTP LE (available
for free at http://www.ftpplanet.com/download.htm). Several website
design tools such as Dreamweaver, Front Page, etc. have built-in
FTP software.
Follow the (2) steps given below to load content to a Network
Vista hosting account.
1) Obtain an FTP tool and configure it using the FTP setup information
supplied by Network Vista as shown below.

NOTE: FTP setup information is given to Network Vista customers
via e-mail after their account setup is complete. Customers may
also view their FTP setup information by logging into the their
Network Vista online account using using their Account Username
and Password. The account login is located in the "Member's
Login" section of Network Vista 's website (www.networkvista.com).
2) Copy any files you disire to your Network Vista hosting account.
Please note that copying files to your account may overwrite your
existing website content. Although Network Vista performs periodic
backups of all hosting account information, it is the customer's
responsibility to keep backup copies of all of their web content. |
