POP3 Mail - Outlook Express

—  Reading E-mail Using Outlook Express™

Follow the 6 steps given below to set up Outlook Express to work with Network Vista's e-mail servers. NOTE: these instructions assume your domain name is "yourdomain.com" and your e-mail account name is "info". Please replace these values with your personal account information.

1) Click on menu Tools/Accounts

2) Click "Add" tab and enter setup information:
        Name: info@yourdomain.com
        E-mail address: info@yourdomain.com
        Reply address: info@yourdomain.com

NOTE: Some Internet Service Providers (ISP's) do not allow sending of outgoing mail (SMTP). In that case, the SMTP server name "mail.yourdomain.com" must be relplaced with the SMTP server specified by your ISP. In this case, you may also have to specify a "login" username and password in Outlook Express.

3) Click "include this server when receiving mail..."

4) Click "server" tab and enter setup information:
        Incoming mail (POP3) server: mail.yourdomain.com
        Outgoing mail (SMTP) server: mail.yourdomain.com
        Account name: info@yourdomain.com
        Account password: ******

5) Click "my server requires authentication"

6) Click "OK"
